SADAT’S PROFILE

Abugbila Zakari Sadat is a graduate of the University for Development Studies, Wa Campus who graduated with a first-class honor in BSc Development Management. He is currently an Mphil student in Development Management in SDD-UBIDS.

As part of his leadership and work experience, Mr Sadat is a member and one of the planners of In-Out Group Company Limited in Ghana. He doubles as the deputy lead research consultant and project coordinator in In-Out who assists in the day-to-day management activities of the company.

He served as a teaching and a research assistant at the Simon D. Dombo University of Business and Integrated Studies. Beyond the role of research assistant in the university, he also played the role of an administrator at the faculty of Public Policy and Governance. He assisted in the administrative duties on a daily and also help senior members of the institution to carry out their teaching and research duties.

Back at the University days he acted as the class secretary and represented the class on academic competitions. As part of his experience, he worked with Anglogold Ashanti Company Limited in 2016/2017 as Health coordinator in rolling out the AGAmal programme. He doubled as the station procurement officer for the Company in the same year.

He was also the Warehouse Administrator in 2015/2016 before he rolled on his undergraduate programme at the University for Development Studies. He has worked with other international organizations such as GiZ, EUGAP and the World Bank. He has served as an external consulting aid to these organizations. He assisted in the baseline survey for Transport Sector Improvement Program in the Upper West Region and also led in the drafting of MTDP across several districts in the Northern sphere of Ghana.

He is a mastermind in research works and plays active role in assisting community social duties with the main notion of assisting policy making in the country as well contributing to knowledge that can assist policy makers and implementers to carry out life improvement programmes.
