On the 18th-26th of June, as part of his employment with the Centre for Risk and Stability Analysis, The Group CEO Micah Zing was given the opportunity as a young researcher to lead a delegation of scientists from the Russian Academy of Sciences to Africa (precisely Ghana and Liberia) in relation to the project “analysis and modelling of African development in the context of Russia foreign interest.”
Based on the goal of the project, they had series of meetings and round table discussions with African Think Tanks, academia and astute politicians. This afforded them the opportunity to understand the kind of relationship that existed between the African countries and the post-Soviet Union and how to foster a good relationship going forward. They also realized series of cooperation (academic agreements) between the Higher School of Economics in Moscow (HSE University) and some African universities (University of Ghana, University of Cape coast and University of Liberia).
